Volunteer for MEND
Do you have a skill?
We encourage people to volunteer for MEND at our projects around the world and enjoy a unique experience.
We are looking for people with the desire to make a difference in culturally diverse communities. You can use your enthusiasm and knowledge to help some of the poorest communities in the world. Currently we have Centres and Partners throughout Asia and Africa.
taking the “dis” out of “dis-ability”!
Experience a New Culture
You will have a chance to share your skills and learn new ones working with children, youth and adults in the area of disability. This is a great opportunity to experience a new culture from the inside and a chance for personal growth. Currently we have Centres and Partners throughout Asia and Africa.
Make New Friends
You will discover when you volunteer for MEND that many of our members have been marginalised in their communities but you can be an important part of their transformation. We hope you will enjoy making new friends, gaining new confidence and experiencing a sense of achievement.

Are you already travelling to North East Asia?
We need volunteers for MEND who are travelling to India, Kashmir, or Nepal to transport used hearing aids or prosthetic limbs with them. These can be dropped off and then shipped locally or picked up, saving expensive transport costs.
Love travelling & shopping!
If you are travelling to India, Kashmir, or Nepal and bring back items you could sell them to friends and family to raise funds for MEND or donate them to us and we can sell them on Trade ME to raise funds for much needed medical procedures.
We work with our friends at Host Base who organise our volunteer placements.
