Fitting Limbs in Eastern Nepal

We receive updates most days from our partners heading out to remote villages to run prosthetic fitting camps.

In Eastern Nepal, the team from our partner, Hope Centre Gulmi, have found many clients who need new limbs. So our team fit them with lightweight and snug legs so they can walk comfortably. The team also fits upper prostheses.

See the photos of this group of clients in remote Eastern Nepal. They’ve been fit and cast on the first trip there by our experienced technician from Kathmandu.

Once fabrication is finished he returns there to finalise the fitting. Two extra staff from Hope Centre accompanied him. Hope Centre is managed by a double amputee, Ganga, who is an incredible manager!

We can recycle any parts donated to MEND for Nepal, Kashmir in India and our partners in Africa.
